Red sesame (Ays detection)

For dogs that carry the Ay allele of A locus, the color of Red Sesame or Red Sesame carriers can be confirmed.

Red: red dogs have genotypes Ay/Ay, Ay/Ays, Ay/at, Ay/aw

Red Sesame: red sesame dogs have genotypes Ays/Ays, Ays/at, Ays/aw

Ays/Ays forms lighter color than Ays/at -> Ays is incompletely dominant over at, the tan color is slightly manifested

Sesame: sesame dogs have genotypes aw/aw, aw/at - this genetic test does not detect pure sesame, for which you need to order locus A test
